Percentages of 14C as bound residue (BR) change with time. BR fractions in the four systems increased with time during the first 24 h. For the two larger doses of ESHA amendment, 187.5 and 1,875 μg ESHA/g soil slurry, BR fractions decreased from day 1 to day 7 rapidly and then remained constant throughout the experimental period. The highest dose of ESHA addition increased the BR fraction significantly compared to other systems.
