The chitosan nanoparticles were formed spontaneously by mixing an equivalent concentration of Chi and polyanions, TPP or DS. To achieve the incorporation of hydralazine into nanoparticles, hydralazine was added in the prepared solution at a concentration of 1 mg/mL.
