Immunocytochemical staining of osteoblasts on the surface of the implants (noninfiltrated Ti, Ti infiltrated with HA and Ti infiltrated with SiO 2 ) showing the expression of actin F and osteopontin (OP). Osteoblasts were stained with anti OP-FITC monoclonal antibody, phalloidin TRITC (for actin F) and DAPI (for nuclei). The images were taken on day 14 and composed with Axiovision Release 4.6.3. image analysis software (magnification 200×).
