The factors used for differentiation are shown in red font (CYC: KAAD-cyclopamine, IGF2: insulin-like growth factor 2). Islet-like clusters were infected with a recombinant adenovirus carrying a bicistronic cassette with the green fluorescent protein (GFP) under the cytomegalovirus (CMV) promoter and the DsRed reporter under the rat insulin promoter.
