qRT-PCR analysis of Mx1 expression in fibroblasts transfected with synthetic B18R mRNA or incubated with 200 ng/ml B18R protein and the following stimulation with IFNβ. Fibroblasts were transfected with 1.5 μg B18R mRNA or incubated with 200 ng/ml B18R protein. After 24 h, cells were stimulated for 3 h at 37 °C and 5% CO2 with 5 ng/ml IFNβ. Subsequently, the Mx1 gene expression was analyzed using qRT-PCR. Results are presented as means ± SEM (n = 3). Differences were analyzed using one-way ANOVA following Bonferroni’s multiple comparison test. (****p < 0.0001)
