Immunofluorescence staining showed that p21 and p27 are found in the nucleus of MDA-MB-231Br cells when they are cultivated on soft (0.4 kPa) HA hydrogels, but they found to have cytoplasmic localization when they are grown on stiff (4.5 kPa) HA hydrogels. Representative fluorescence microscopy images of p21 (upper panel) and p27 (lower panel) staining at day 2 of MDA-MB-231Br cells cultivated on soft (0.4 kPa) and stiff (4.5 kPa) HA hydrogel, respectively.
