FTIR analysis of fabricated Alg + Fib hydrogels with different protocols was compared to the Alg alone group (A-D). In panel B, the mixture of Alg + Fib was mixed with CaCl2 for 10 min followed by the addition of thrombin. In another group (C), the mixture of Alg + Fib and CaCl2 was exposed to thrombin and allowed to gel for 10 min. In the last group (D), the mixture of Alg + Fib was clotted using thrombin and exposed to CaCl2 after 10 min. In all groups, 2% (w/v) sodium Alg, 1% Fib, and 5 IU thrombin were applied at a ratio of 4: 2: 1, respectively
