While endothelialization was hardly seen in bare and intermediately coated grafts (representative images are shown in panels a and b, respectively), near complete endothelialization occurred in CD34 antibody (Ab) coated grafts (a representative image is shown in panel c). Of note, thrombi (most likely fibrin fiber structures) formed on the luminal wall of bare grafts were observed (panel a). Graph d shows the quantification results of endothelialization (n = 3 for each group of explants).
